Profile
Dr Ada Ng studied at the University of New South Wales from 2000 - 2005. She undertook internship and residency at Royal North Shore Hospital. She was then appointed as an Advanced Trainee in General Surgery at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney. Dr Ng obtained her FRACS in 2013. She subsequently undertook two years of subspecialty training in Colorectal Surgery with the CSSANZ program. She was appointed as Clinical Fellow at Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney in 2014, and at St Vincents Hospital, Melbourne in 2015. Dr Ng specialises in colonoscopy, laparoscopic bowel resection, perianal disease, inflammatory bowel disease and pelvic floor disorders. Dr Ng also performs general surgical procedures including hernia surgery.
Research
Dr Ng has published and presented at various surgical meetings on topics including endometriosis involving the colon and rectum, haemorrhoidal disease, and the use of mesh in hernia repairs. Dr Ng is currently undertaking translational research into cancer proteomics as part of her Masters of Surgery with the University of Sydney.
