Dr Kam was appointed as Director of Spinal Trauma at Westmead, and holds Visiting Medical Officer appointments at the Westmead, Sydney Adventist Hospital, and Norwest Private Hospitals. Dr Kam's main interest is in degenerative and metastatic disease of the spine. He was involved in the introduction of disc arthroplasty technology to Australia. He has a specific interest in the treatment of cervical spondylosis. Dr Kam is also Director of Training at Westmead Hospital and an elected member fo the Executive Board for Neurosurgery Society of Australia.
Research
Dr Kam has specific interest in Motion Preservation Technology, and Minimal Access Spinal Surgery.
