Profile
Dr Hsu is an Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon and a graduate of the University of Sydney and the AOA training Scheme. After completing his training in Australia, Dr Hsu spent 18 months overseas in the USA completing two fellowships. His area of expertise is adult and paediatric spinal deformity, degenerative cervical and lumbar conditions, complex cervical and lumbar reconstructions, osteotomies and minimally invasive surgical procedures. The focus of his practice is thorough patient care and treatment ensuring the patient is cared for appropriately and promptly. This is acheived through conprehensive communication with the patient and their referrring doctor. Dr Hsu's area of interest is in all aspects of spine surgery and spinal disorders. His focus in on education and has given numerous presentations at national and international meetings. Dr Hsu has peer-reviewed journal Spine, an international journal for the study of the spine and has written several book chapters.
Research
Dr Hsu participates in global spine organisations such as Scoliosis Research Society and is a member of the Research Grant Review Committee.
