Profile
Dr Seton graduated MBBS from Sydney University in January 1980, and was Junior Medical Officer at Royal North Shore Hospital between 1980 and 1982. He undertook Paediatric Training at Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick, between 1983-89, and completed Sleep Physician training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Sydney University from 1990 to 1993. He began his consultant practice in 1993 as a 50% (half time) staff specialist at Camperdown Children's Hospital, transferring to Children's Hospital Westmead in 1995. He consults privately in Paediatric Sleep Disorders and Respiratory Medicine at Hornsby, Westmead and St. Vincent's Clinic. Dr Seton established Australia's first Private Paediatric Sleep Investigation Unit at Sydney Adventist Hospital in March, 2000.
Research
Dr Seton has specific interest in Paediatric Sleep and Respiratory Disorders, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), Narcolepsy, and the effects of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea on Learning and Behaviour in Children.
