Profile
Dr Ferris Touma is a consultant cardiologist with subspecialty expertise in advanced cardiac imaging (cardiac MRI, cardiac CT and echocardiography). He has a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) and Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (Honours), both from the University of Sydney. He completed his physicians training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. After completing his advanced cardiology training in NSW, he moved to the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne for his advanced cardiac imaging fellowship.
He is a consultant cardiologist at Sydney Adventist Hospital, Hornsby Ku-ring-gai and the Northern Beaches Hospital. He is the current Director of Physician Education at the Northern Beaches Hospital and he also teaches medical students from Macquarie University. He continues to collaborate in clinical trials and clinical research, and he has published and presented his research in several international peer reviewed journals and conferences.
