Profile
Dr Vasica graduated with first class honours in anatomy and physiology, subsequently obtaining a first class honours in Forensic Medicine at University of Queensland. Dr Vasica completed her Medical Degree in in 2002 at The University of Sydney graduating with honours. She was subsequently a Vascular Surgeon trainee for 3 years, before deciding to train as a General Surgeon. She has been in private practice since 2011. Dr Vasica has an active interest in Laparoscopic Surgery and Breast Surgery. She is currently the secretary of the Department of Surgery & Surgical Training at Hornsby Kur-ring-gai Hospital. She is a Surgical tutor at Sydney Adventist Clinical School. She is examinar for Surgical Trainees for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Dr Vasica is a member of several committee's including Breast Surgery Section, Women in Surgery section of RACS. Dr Vasica is Deputy chair of the NSW/ACT training committee for the Royal College of Surgeons.
