Dr Gunjan Aggarwal is a general adult cardiologist with a special interest in non-invasive cardiac imaging, particularly echocardiography and cardiac CT. Dr Aggarwal graduated with first class honours from the University of NSW in 2002 and completed his residency and basic physician training at Westmead Hospital where he was exposed to broad range of medical specialties. He undertook his adult cardiology training at Prince of Wales, St George and Wollongong Hospitals. Subsequently he was appointed the Echocardiography and Cardiac Imaging Fellow at the Prince of Wales and St George Hospitals in 2009 and 2010. Dr Aggarwal holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and is a member of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. He is a Visiting Medical Officer at Sydney Adventist Hospital, Eastern Heart Clinic, Prince of Wales Private Hospital and Norwest Private Hospital. He has Level 2 accreditation with the Society of Cardiovascular CT and is currently involved in clinical research in the rapidly expanding subspecialty at the Prince of Wales Hospital as a postgraduate research fellow. Dr Aggarwal consults in Sydney Cardiology's Bella Vista, Blacktown and Westmead practice on an associate basis. He is committed to providing the highest standard of cardiology care to his patients, with an empathic and individualised approach. He is also fluent in Hindi.
