Dr Rafael Gaszynski is a highly skilled and accomplished General Surgeon, specialising in the surgical management of diseases affecting the stomach, liver, pancreas, spleen, small intestine and gallbladder. With a practice based in Sydney's upper north shore, he is dedicated to providing patient-centered care with compassion, communication, and shared decision-making.

Dr Gaszynski received his medical degree from Jagiellonian University in Poland and completed his internship and basic surgical training through the Royal College of Surgeons in England. He further honed his skills in Australia, where he spent several years in various medical positions, including emergency medicine and aeromedical retrieval with the Royal Flying Doctors. After obtaining his fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2019, during which he won the clinical committee prize in 2012 for the best performing surgical candidate in Australia and New Zealand, Dr Gaszynski completed a three-year post-fellowship program in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary surgery through the Australian and New Zealand Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association Fellowship (ANZHPBA) based at several hospitals in Sydney.

Dr Gaszynski is able to see both public and private patients being accredited at both Hornsby Ku-ring-ga Hospital and Sydney Adventist Hospital.
