Dr Vanessa Perotti is an Australian trained neurosurgeon with an interest in all aspects of neurosurgery including brain, spine and peripheral nerve.
Dr Vanessa Perotti trained in the busiest neurosurgery training hospitals in Sydney and Auckland New Zealand. She was awarded a FRACS in Neurosurgery in 2017. Her training has included observerships at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital, New York USA, and a Neurotrauma Fellowship at Royal Darwin Hospital in the Northern Territory and a Spinal Fellowship at Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide S.A. as well as various training in centres in the U.S.A and Europe.
Vanessa holds a Master in Health Law from the University of Sydney with an interest in clinical governance, audit, outcome analysis in neurosurgery patients and review in critical incident events. Vanessa has held positions on RCA teams, the CEC, charity boards, medical indemnity committees and the neuroanatomy sub-committee for the SET board for Neurosurgery.
Dr Perotti holds hospital accreditation with Sydney Adventist Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital and Westmead Private Hospital. She has professional interests in spine, neuro-oncology, neurotrauma and spinal trauma, peripheral nerve disorders and CSF disorders including hydrocephalus and Chiari Malformation.
