Profile
Dr Vera Kinzel is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in Knee, Shoulder and Trauma Procedures. After obtaining her medical degree and PhD in Germany, Dr Kinzel completed surgical training at the Royal College of Surgeons of both England and Ireland. Since coming to Australia, Dr Kinzel has been selected for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Advanced Training Program in Orthopaedic Surgery. She has sub-specialised in Knee & Sports Medicine and did a one-year Fellowship in Knee and Sports Surgery in Australia and further Fellowship in Shoulder Surgery in New Zealand.
Her training career in multiple countries is widely in Arthroscopic Surgery and Arthroplasty Surgery of the Knee and Shoulder and has a special interest in sports injuries and their management in the adult and paedeatric population. Dr Kinzel operates at Sydney Adventist Hospital as well as Norwest Private and Macquarie University hospitals.
