Profile
Dr Skarbek graduated MB BS from the University of NSW in 1991. She was an Intern and Resident Medical Officer at Hornsby Hospital in 1991-92, and in 1993 became Registrar at St. George Hospital. Between 1994 and 1998 she was Registrar in Psychiatry for Central Sydney Area Health Service, and became a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at St. John of God Hospital in Burwood in 1998. Since 1992, Dr Skarbek has been an Accredited Medical Ofiicer at Sydney Adventist Hospital, as a Consultation - Liaison in Psychiatry. Dr Skarbek has gained further specialist qualifications in Psychiatry of old age and is a member of the Faculty of Old Age Psychiatry. She is also a Councillor for the Medical Benevolent Association.
